One might say that we look outward to look inward. Through all our telescopes, we are still Earth-centric. Certainly the belief once was that the Earth was the center of the universe until Copernicus spun that around. At planetariums we look to the heavens, seeking to confirm our place in the vastness. Does the third rock hold the only intelligent life in the universe?
