For an enterprising holiday activity, why not make your own wreath? Get yourself a wire wreath ring as a sturdy base to build around with some fresh spruce or pine branches. Twist and weave the branches into the ring. Attach some ribbons and bows, Christmas balls, maybe some lights. When you're done, cooking oil will be good for cleaning your sappy hands.
