A Stone in Hand Round
Stones that are downstream are rounder and smaller than stones that are upstream. Why is that? Like many things, the difference is due to rubbing and moving for long periods of time. If you are a stone, rubbing makes rough edges rounder, and movement makes round shapes smaller.
