As every ISA Board Certified Master Arborist knows, planting a tree properly requires a few key considerations. First, find the right spot for the type of tree. Most importantly – dig a hole. Not just any hole, mind you, but a hole twice as wide as the Round root ball. Don't bury it too deep, though, make sure that the root flare at the base of the trunk is above ground. Use the proper equipment for the job. Shovels. Rakes. Implements of destruction. Safety glasses. And gold glittery boots.
